Wondering why that lower playground is still closed? Or, rather why it’s now a garden and not a playground?
You can ask Conway Road resident Chester Dixon. In 2011, Waldorf students began throwing rocks and chunks of asphalt over the playground fence and onto Mr. Dixon’s car. Now, this was in addition to the years of previous headaches (harassing his animals, attempting to construct a brick and mortar oven on his property).
When asked, the school refused to interfere with the kids play activities because that’s against their philosophy, and so Mr. Dixon did the only thing he could – use the legal system.
Dekalb County, GA, Civil Case Number 11M06393 was decided in Mr. Dixon’s favor.
